Biography and Education

Learner Information

Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?

I wanted to train at an academic institution where I could explore all the subspecialties OB/GYN has to offer and have the resources to pursue research for fellowship. Additionally, it was important for me that I undergo my labor and delivery training alongside midwives, and that in my outpatient training I receive adequate training on social determinants of health and resources available to address these.

What do you like about your program?

As cliché as it sounds, the culture here. My co-residents are supportive in so many ways, from professional to personal, that it makes being far from home easier.
Also, Lexington is just a really fun, perfectly-sized city without a lot of traffic, but with a low of breweries, good food, and kind people.

What are your hobbies?

In my free time I like to read romance novels, hike, catch up with friends, and go to Ikea (1.25 hours away in Cincinnati!).
