Bio / Education: 

Dr. McDowell is a clinical fellow in Gynecology Oncology at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor Scott and White Health in Temple, TX. His research interests include ovarian cancer epidemiology and treatment.

Research Description: 

Dr. McDowell's past research has been in developing and testing novel ovarian cancer treatments in both in vitro and in vivo testing models. Currently, he is in the Masters Program for Clinical Research Design at the University of Kentucky.
