OB/GYN Research Ranked Among Top in NIH Research

The University of Kentucky Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is ranked twenty second (22) nationally in National Institutes of Health (NIH) medical school funding for 2013. This is an incredible accomplishment in this highly competitive funding environment!

UK OB-GYN was awarded just over $1.9 million in NIH funding in 2013. This NIH funding is just part of a rich portfolio of the Department’s extramural support which includes collaborative NIH studies, clinical trials, state grants, contracts, etc.

We are truly proud of all our researchers especially Dr. Curry, 28th in the nation, and Dr. Coker, ranked 33rd. Congratulations to all of our NIH supported investigators: Congratulations Tom Curry, Ann Coker, Misung Jo and Corrine Williams
